Terms of Service

For HosaFlow Customers and Store Owners

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HosaFlow ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all customer users of the HosaFlow app.

2. Description of Service

HosaFlow is a local discovery and self-checkout shopping platform that enables: • Customers to browse nearby stores, scan products, and complete purchases digitally • Digital payment processing through integrated payment gateways • Loyalty programs and rewards management HosaFlow is a technology platform, not a store or payment processor. We facilitate connections between customers and stores.

3. User Accounts

To use HosaFlow, you must: • Be at least 13 years old • Provide accurate and complete information • Sign in using Google OAuth • Maintain the security of your account • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to: • Use the Service legally and ethically • NOT scan products you don't intend to purchase • Complete payments for items in your cart before leaving stores • Provide accurate information during checkout • NOT attempt to manipulate prices or bypass payment • NOT reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the Service • NOT use the Service for fraudulent activities • Respect store policies and staff instructions Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or legal action.

5. Shopping & Payments

When shopping through HosaFlow: • Prices are set by individual stores, not HosaFlow • All sales are final unless the store's return policy states otherwise • Payment processing is handled securely via payment partners integrated by each store (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, Cashfree, PayU, Paytm) • You must complete payment before leaving the store • Keep your payment confirmation/QR code accessible until you exit the store • If your phone battery dies after payment, inform store staff immediately and show alternative proof of payment (bank SMS, email confirmation, etc.) • Screenshot or note your order ID before exiting in case of technical issues • HosaFlow is not responsible for product quality or availability • Store checkout limits apply to self-checkout transactions For issues with products or orders, contact the store directly.

6. Pricing & Offers

• Stores set their own prices and offers • Prices shown in the app are real-time from store databases • Offers and discounts are subject to terms set by stores • HosaFlow does not guarantee price accuracy (verify at checkout) • Stores reserve the right to modify or cancel offers

7. Loyalty Points

• Loyalty points are earned based on store programs • Points have no cash value unless stated by the store • Points may expire based on store policies • HosaFlow is not liable for point calculation errors • Stores may modify or terminate loyalty programs

8. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT: • Create multiple accounts to abuse offers • Share accounts with others • Use automated bots or scripts • Attempt to defraud stores or customers • Scan products and leave without payment • Harass store staff or other users • Violate any laws or regulations • Interfere with the Service's operation

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of HosaFlow are owned by HosaFlow and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may NOT: • Copy, modify, or distribute our content • Use our branding without permission • Create derivative works • Reverse-engineer the app

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to: • Suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations • Refuse service to anyone • Modify or discontinue the Service You may delete your account at any time through app settings. Upon termination: • Your access will be revoked immediately • Unused loyalty points may be forfeited • Outstanding payments remain due

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. HosaFlow does NOT guarantee: • Uninterrupted or error-free service • Accuracy of store information • Product availability or quality • Compatibility with all devices • Security against all threats We are a technology platform connecting customers and stores. We are NOT responsible for: • Product quality, safety, or legality • Store behavior or policies • Payment processing errors (handled by shop's payment partner) • Data loss or security breaches beyond our control

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: HosaFlow shall NOT be liable for: • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill • Service interruptions or technical issues • Third-party actions (stores, payment processors) • User disputes or fraud Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to HosaFlow in the past 12 months (if any).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HosaFlow harmless from claims arising from: • Your use of the Service • Violation of these Terms • Violation of laws or third-party rights • Fraudulent activities • Disputes with stores or other users

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via: • Email notification • In-app announcement • Updated "Last Modified" date Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Store Owner Terms Addendum

This addendum applies to store owners using HosaFlow owner tools and POS services.

A1. Owner Responsibility

Store Owners are solely responsible for shop setup, products, pricing, promotions, media uploads, and all customer-facing information published from their account.

A2. Payment, Settlement, Refunds, and Chargebacks

Where payment gateways, UPI, online settlement rails, or platform-linked payment features are enabled, payment disputes, refund obligations, and chargeback liability for store-origin transactions remain the Owner's responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement. HosaFlow may provide technical assistance but is not a banking institution or payment intermediary of record. HosaFlow may introduce platform fees, commissions, or payment processing charges in the future, and Owners will be notified prior to activation.

A3. No Employment, Agency, or Partnership

Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise, fiduciary, or agency relationship between HosaFlow and the Owner.

A4. Limitation of Liability Cap (Owner)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HosaFlow's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to owner platform use shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Owner to HosaFlow in the preceding three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to liability.

A5. Owner Indemnification

The Owner agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HosaFlow, its affiliates, and team members from and against claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs, and legal expenses arising from shop operations, listings, products, intellectual property violations, food/product compliance failures, tax non-compliance, or breach of law/policy by the Owner.

A6. Service Availability

HosaFlow does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of the platform. Temporary downtime, scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or technical issues may occur from time to time.

A7. Termination by Owner

Owners may discontinue use of the platform at any time, subject to settlement of any outstanding obligations, dues, chargeback liabilities, compliance holds, or unresolved disputes connected with their shop operations.

A8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction (Owner)

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with owner platform use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

These terms are designed to protect both customers and stores while ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
